The editorial is correct. Judges are so afraid of the Establishment Clause that they are bending over backward to eliminate Christian influence everywhere. Would a statue of Buddha fare before Judge Thompson as does the cross of Christ? When do civil liberties include liberties for us?

Paul, Texas
This is an outrage! What can I do to help in this effort? I'm with you. Are there any Christian legal groups taking on this case-ADF, ACLJ, AFA, Thomas Moore Center, etc.? It's time for the army of God (the Church) to take the nation back from the forces of hell. Let me know what I can do.

Roberta, Kansas
I live in the Midwest, but am interested to follow how Christian's there are taking their stand for the Christian heritage of our nation. I will be praying for you all, especially for God's wisdom and protection.

Debbie, California
I think what is happening is just another sad example of where our country is heading. It seems as if Christians have less rights than these so-called atheists. The devil is a liar. Pray everyone in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ and pray everyday!

Mike, Arizona
I have visited this spot many times while I was attending Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. They may tear down symbols of Jesus Christ, but they will only fuel the hope that lies within our Christian hearts.

Donna, Maryland
It's sad that the goal of some atheists, bigots, lawyers, judges and the ACLU is to devote their time and life energy to the goal of destroying that which others have spent time building up to honor that which has made our country great.

Kevin, Arkansas
I agree wholeheartedly! It's time for the Church to stand up and make itself a force in our communities again. Let every denomination come together, put aside their differences, lock arms with their brothers and sisters in Christ and protect that cross. Even the liberal media would have to cover the story if millions of Christians showed up on Mt Soledad!

Paul, Virginia
Re: Mt Soledad cross: Isn't it amazing how a small percentage of the population has so much power over the majority and it's upheld by the courts.  Have these judges read Article I of the Constitution lately?  The Evil One knows his time is short and he doing some of his best work.

Beverly, Florida
The Mt. Soledad cross needs to stay. We as Christians need to unite to save our religious freedoms for they will be taken soon enough . We need to protect them while we can. What some people seem to forget is that this country was founded on Christians values. And if it weren't for those values a lot of things would be different in this country.  So unite Christians across the land to save the Mt. Soledad Cross and all that it stands for.

Pat, Minnesota
Keep the Cross Standing! This country was founded on Christian principles and will go down if we depart from them. I am sick and tired of atheists trying to rewrite our history and destroy everything that pertains to God in this country. Keep kicking Him out and then see what happens to us! Let the Cross stay!

Earl, Pennsylvania
The removal of the Mt. Soledad Cross is only one more example of our Christless society's attempts at rewriting history by removing all references to Christ from our history, landmarks and/or memories.  May God forgive us for allowing them to get this far along with their planned erasure.
